It opens closes well and has the metal picture retaining shim for one side. As to be expected with the items age, it isn't stamped hallmarked, it tests for high grade silver (800+). The total weight is 9. 43g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. There are some deep scratches on the rear of the locket (see pictures video).
