I always thought that the only way I could make it as an artist was to be in some place with a "real"art scene like New York. Looking back, I'm so very glad my life didn't go in that direction. No offense to anyone from NYC at all, you have a beautiful city, but it's just not my kind of place to live. Over the years, as I slowed down, I started to see the
