Victorian Nursing Chair BOXWOOD INLAY The doors feature triple fieldOur Stock # LFA 1164 This is an antique Victorian nursing chair dating to c. 1850. The well figured walnut frame is beautifully formed with swept rear side rails modestly decorated with acanthus leaf carving. The serpentine front seat rail features a stylised, asymmetric motif and unites the splayed cabriole front legs with carved scrolled knees and toes. Riding upon the original brass castors the traditionally stuffed seat is covered in a needlepoint
