Opal The interior features black MoroccoVictorian silver plated soup tureen. Of compressed oval form with twin scroll, acanthus capped, handles. The domed cover features a pomegranate finial with stalk and leaf. Crested to the body and cover for the Forbes family. It is highly likely that this tureen was in the possession of Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Forbes (1798 1877).
