This piece fades to a deep blue background with  feathery silver crystals

The zinc crystals are actually grown during the firing and cooling process

These crystals actually GROW during the firing and cooling process! No two pieces are ever alike. The crystals seem to be floating in the frozen glaze. 8. 5" tall x 5. 25" wide 3" opening (without lid on) 6. 25" tall without lid on The jar was handmade on the potters wheel from porcelain clay by Lindsey. It was fired to over 2300 F in an electric kiln.
