Parvin runner red floral spandrelsAn antique 1920s Jozan rug from north west Persia. A village production but in a graceful, quite sophisticated design. Dark blue field with large red central medallion outlined in pale green and ivory and pale hlue and red inner medallion. Charming flower patterns in the spandrels; mid blue floral main border; pale yellow guards. Overall wear, slightly heavier in places, A few small crease marks, losses to ends; small patch to field centre verso.
