The showy flowers have an attractive crimson brown freckle pattern and a less significant dark red color at the base of the throat. The medium sized bright green foliage creates a nice skirting for the large trusses. Maddie Mae can grow to about 3' tall at maturity and should be planted in full sun to partial shade. We find
